Position: Activity Coordinator

Do you love fun and love seniors? We are looking for an Activity Cordinator (48 hours biweekly). Our Independent Seniors love doing things and also leading things. If you are organized, creative and friendly and this may just be the job for you. Activities are led by Residents, Volunteers, Paid people like musicians and sometimes the Activity Coordinator. Must be willing to listen to the residents' ideas.

Required: Intermediate knowledge of Microsfot Office, Technical Ability on Computers, Team Player, Great Listener, strong organizational skills

Preferred: Volunteer Coordination experience or Activity Coordination in a similar setting, Foodsafe

This is a union position with excellent extended benefits and pension plan. Wage: $18.68 per hour plus benefits. A CRC for working with vulnerable people is required for all positions. We have COVID safety precautions in place including medical grade masks, Safety protocols and high level of sanitization.

Position: Casual Relief

Located in downtown Victoria, we are close to the park, the inner harbor, and bus stops.You get to interact with interesting people and will be trained in a variety of positions which keeps life interesting. Supplement your Activities or Grandchildren's Fund with Part-time earnings

You can work as Casual Relief for one of Victoria's most sought after non-profit seniors' residences. 

We currently need people to fill in for:

  • Dining Room Serving
  • Front Desk
  • Housekeeping 

Rates vary depending on the position, and can be from $16 to $17.50 per hour.

Casual Hours can work into Permanent Employment for those who choose. Most shifts are daytime, with some overnight shifts as well.

  • Care about Seniors
  • Food Safe Certification and WHMIS training is an asset
